The Threemile Canyon Farm is looking at adding a housing development to house 200 to 800 seasonal workers. Morrow County is considering a zoning change that would allow the proposed site west of Boardman to house seasonal farmworkers.
The land is currently zoned Space Ag Industrial, but farm officials have asked that designation be changed to Exclusive Farm Use. In addition, ownership is looking at purchasing 66 acres from the city of Boardman for the project. The County Planning Commission is set to make a decision after its June 28th meeting.
